who are the ehrmans?

We are a normal family, seeking to do something not so normal.

We met in 2011 while serving at Camp Arnes, in the Interlake region of Manitoba, Canada.  Though it took us awhile to reconnect, we met again, dated and were married in 2013!  In April 2016 we welcomed Jovie Evangeline into our little home. She is an intelligent, energetic and mischievous toddler with her mom's attitude and her dad's looks.  In August 2017, Arrow Lark arrived.  She was so eager, she couldn't even wait for us to get to the hospital!

After 9 summers at Camp for Max, and a lifetime in Manitoba for Sherayah, we're moving on.  Life has been a great adventure so far, and we're looking forward to even more. Jesus has called us to follow him down to California, so we're going to do our best to say yes.  On the way, we'll do our best to keep you updated.

The bottom line is, as a family, we want to learn how to put Jesus first in every decision we make.  A common complaint among non-Christians is that those of us who claim to be his followers don't act much like him.

So our goal is simple.  Find out what pleases Jesus and to imitate him as closely as we can. This is a pretty ambitious goal, but it seems like a pretty good way to spend a lifetime.
